The Nordic Area is the name of the northern parts of Europe i.e Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland & Iceland. This area is in a logistic aspect an "out-port" area, and very few Lines have direct sailings to our area. The big ports in Europe i.e Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Rotterdam and Antwerp are used as the transhipment ports for containers and cargo into our area.
In order to reduce lead time, delays and additional costs, we in Nordic Wave have established a concept which gives us a regional advantage in terms of operate and establish the best possible solutions for cargo in and out of this area.
It is not always that cargo finds the best routing itself or is carried by the best alternative, so we strongly believe it need the correct actions, corrections, inputs, advises and monitoring in order to do this. Nordic Wave operates all over the region, and can make use of all possible opportunities and operators whether it is by sea, air or land connections.
